The staff was kind, the room was relaxing and immaculate. The restaurant here was great at 17 floor, we both ordered appetising dishes. The views over the hills and the distant temples were particularly good!

Helpful staff, location
The policy of not quoting the money from the first time of booking, I payed some taxes like consumption and service. I wish to book a room including all taxes and price in advance like my other bookings of other hotels.

Location is fantastic, right next to the subway and walking distance to Gion. Room service food was a bit underwhelming and pricey compared to local spots.

The staff were fantastic and could not do enough for us. There was always someone on hand to help us with whatever we wanted, whether booking a tour, giving advice about trains or restaurants or checking luggage through. The view from our east side room was superb.

direct subway access, spacious bathrooms, unique bathroom amenities
The fitness facility charges a ridiculous daily fee of $33!!! I found the bar prices to be excessive, which really soured the experience!!! Plus, some rooms feel outdated and lack the luxury you would expect at this price point!!!
