the okura is a perfect place to relax with great facilities. the location is fantastic, right in front of the subway and close to wonderful restaurants. Don't miss their breakfast buffet on the top floor. the view is breathtaking, and the selection is amazing. also, the fitness center is a big plus for keeping active during your stay!

The fitness facility charges a ridiculous daily fee of $33!!! I found the bar prices to be excessive, which really soured the experience!!! Plus, some rooms feel outdated and lack the luxury you would expect at this price point!!!

The hotel features elegant decor and offers easy accessibility, including a free shuttle to Kyoto Station, making it very senior-friendly. The spacious guest rooms and delightful staff made my stay particularly enjoyable and comfortable.

I had a lovely stay. Rooms are spacious and well-decorated. Breakfast has a wonderful selection of both Japanese and Western dishes. The location is convenient, right by the subway station. Staff provided excellent service throughout my visit. 😊

Had an amazing trip with friends! We loved visiting the beautiful temples and exploring local parks. The breakfast spread was huge with both Japanese and Western options. Our rooms were clean and spacious. It's connected to the subway, making it so easy to get around. Highly recommend staying here for a comfortable and enjoyable time.

One downside was the confusing elevator and room numbering system. It took us a while to figure it out.

Loved the spacious rooms with great mountain views and the free shuttle to the train station was super handy. Plus, they even sang happy birthday to my partner in our room!

Staying here for six nights in a Superior Twin Room with a City View exceeded expectations. The buffet breakfast on the 17th floor, with a mix of Western and Japanese options, was a highlight, especially enjoyed with stunning views. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, especially during my unexpected injury. their assistance made a challenging situation much easier. However, the bathroom could benefit from a more modern design, and there were occasions with limited seating in common areas.

Rooms had great views and comfortable amenities. parking was limited.
